Dr. Kristy Robinson-Lee
Dr. Kristy Robinson-Lee is a primary care optometrist and an owner of Madison Heights Eye Care, with special interests in treating eye diseases and fitting contact lenses. A native to the area, she graduated from Appomattox County High School and the Central Virginia Governor’s School. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Vision Theory from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University(Cum Laude). She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry University, graduating with honors in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Robinson-Lee is dedicated to both patient care and serving her community. She serves as the eye care provider for the Old Dominion Job Corps and provides pro bono exams for the Amherst County Lions Club. She has mentored students, supported local charities, participated in health fairs, and was the 2014 commencement speaker for Appomattox County High School. She currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Virginia Optometric Association and is a member of the American Optometric Association and National Optometric Association. Her commitment to eye care and community service has earned her recognition as Business Woman of the Year by the American Business Women's Association and as a Pioneer by the Amherst County NAACP. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, music, and traveling with her husband, Clyde.
